Rachelka

RACHELEK - KARTOFELEK*.  If you follow me on instagram/twitter or belong to the elite of my Facebook friends, you must have noticed that I have a new piece of fluff in the household. Rachela (Rachel) is Bobek's significant other and she joined our humble abode (was rescued by me from a pet shop cause I fell in love with her the moment I saw her sitting in a cage and eating hay) on New Year's Eve. I know, the date sounds crazy cause that was supposed to be the day when I went on a hunt for something to wear for the NYE party. Instead (or maybe not really instead because I ended up with a hound's-tooth check bag and a black shirt, which later got some bites from a very sweet chinchilla) I brought home baby Rachel. She could barely walk and My Boy kept asking if she was alive at all (btw, I wish you could see his face when I showed up with little black fluff in my hand). At first Bobek wasn't so interested in his new life companion (or a partner in crime as these two took over the flat) but later proved that he's absolutely straight and all my assumptions (aka wishful thinking) that he might be gay proved false.

Rachel turned out to be completely different than Bobek. And it's not only because she is smaller and looks like a big piece of black dust. She is independent in her own way, meaning she doesn't care much about what's going on around her as long as she has her food and water to drink. Bobek, on the contrary, is very much sociable and likes watching TV or listen to Mum talking about literally anything. And he's a true fan of Magda Gessler. Rachela spends her days eating, drinking, making pellets and finding new places to hide (in the meantime she convinced Bobek to join her and their favourite pastime is hiding behind the sofa). She also loves jumping in the hay tray attached to the cage.

Two bunnies mean twice as much work and cleaning the cage much more often. Sometimes I wish I had eyes at the back of my head cause I have two little bundles of joy to look at and together they seem unpredictable. But all in all I absolutely cannot complain. Bobek and Rachela get on like a house on fire and watching them play/take care of each other/doing whatever else is one of the best parts of my every day.

So now, I'm gonna get back to my bunny world and you can expect even more of these cutepies here and wherever else I perform some social networking avtivities.

Oi oi.

* I can sense this sounds only funny in Polish so at least now you have a reason to learn a new language. Kartofelek is a small potato if you want a new word on your vocabulary list.
