TOI TOI MA BELLE ANDALOUSE AUSSI BELLE QUE JALOUSE. 9 years ago I set my feet on the Spanish ground and, as most of the time, my destination was Costa del sol and beautiful Andalusia. In 2006 I had no clue I'd name the history of Al-Andalus as one of my favourite fields of study, yet I had fallen head over heels in love with the region. Sea, sun and sand are definitely the top 3 things people imagine about Andalusia but if you're a more curious traveller, you're gonna explore nice places and experience breathtaking views as the ones on the pics.
I always wish I could go to the places I've already seen and look at them from my 23-years-old perspective. Cause 9 years ago I was probably too young to understand where I am and to fully appreciate the soil I got to walk on. That is why I also don't remember that much (apart from the fact I bought myself a khaki top there and I no longer own it cause it became too small and I threw it away). I can also recall a group of Polish tourists who happened to be there with us and how ASHamed I was because of this tiny teeny weeny fact (I'm almost always ashamed when I'm around typical Polish tourists).
To conclude (I really wish I had my diary from 2006 with me right now, I'm sure there'd be more remarks on Ronda which I could use instead of relying on my memory only), I hope one day I get to come back there or somewhere around there cause the greatest beauty lies in the least expected places and I usually have more fun in little villages with friendly inhabitants than in big cities with people living their big city lives.
