instamoment: curl it up

I LIKE THEM CURLED. I spent most of my life rocking a typical tomboyish hairdo. When I finished primary school I started having problems with hairloss and I'm still fighting but finally with some progress and visible effects. I promised myself that one day, when the fight is over and I'm mentally ready to describe what it feels like to have less and less hair while your friends sport runway hairstyles, I'll do it here. Not because I want or need compassion. Many people experience hairloss and don't know where to turn to or look for treatment on their own. Yet it's always kind of a taboo (at least in Poland where only flu seems to be okay to talk about) and since I'm that kind of girl who talks as much about depression and sex as she does about weather and fashion, there's almost no taboo for me. I also wanna fight with the stereotype that all the bloggers live carelessly and glamorously, wake up with make up on their faces, have perfect bodies and stylish clothes. That's not always true and we share only what we want to share but this doesn't mean we don't fight our little private wars.

I have already won some battles but the game is still on. Anyway, it gets better and better every day and today I decided to sport some curls. My hair is generally straight and if I have some bad hair day, I also try to make it straight. But the truth is I've always wanted to try curly hair and today I decided to give it a try. I think it looks good, so does my Boy and I don't need any other opinions. Just kidding, constructive criticism is always welcome and appreciated.
