I WAS BURNT BY THE SUN, SAID GOODBYE TO THE SEA. To be candid, I said goodbye to the sea last Saturday when my plane from Barcelona took off and flew me back to Poland. Spain was a blast with lots of sightseeing and a totally unexcpected trip to Perpignan in France. I have some nice photos to share (I'll do it soon although most of my sangria adventures around Tossa de Mar could be seen on Instagram) and even more inspiration for autumn and winter (actually I spent most of the time bundled up like mad and missing my navy blue parka so winter came early to me). Warsaw greeted me with a very nice weather and a super duper information that a brand new vegan-kale-gluten free-and whatnot restaurant is about to open in a shopping mall near my flat (a special note to my Baby Boy: We're not moving there). Right now I'm spending the days in my hometown trying to relax and look for even more inspiration (I have this thing with art books and I almost jumped when I saw my mum's book about The Museum of Oriental Art in Moscow). I'm also adopting some clothes from mum's closet and since I'm hoping to post more about fashion and my fashionable picks You'll see all these gems here.
Summer's actually over and it's sweater weather soon. Anyway, my fashion horoscope for this season (yep, there are such things and this industry is crazy) tells me that I'm gonna experiment with all that glitters and has feathers, so despite dark gloomy and shorter days (but longer nights aka good news for all the lovers) I'm already looking forward to it. But as for now, or as for today's morning actually (it's not morning here anymore I know), I wanted to bring back a song I heard years ago when I was 17. It's by Sophie Solomon, is called 'Burnt by the Sun' and although it's kinda sad, I still listen to it from time to time. In other words: perfect tune for all the heartbroken people who wanna feel even sadder while sipping on some red wine. Or some nice music to listen to and think of all the dance moves that go with every note (I have this thing with choreographies, You know me). So sit on the balcony, watch the sundown, look at the sky and the birds and think of how lucky You are to have that special someone who's always there for You no matter what.
