Amazing Places in Vienna You Didn't Know Existed I've been to Vienna many time and even got the chance to live there for a while and still, I had no bloody idea about any of these places! Perfect alternatives to what Lonely Planet recommends :)
Nas Daily One of the best Facebook pages I've ever seen! Nas makes one minute videos in which he talks about everyday Israel and its people. He stole my heart with his Is Palestine Real? video and made me appreciate him even more when he invited the whole Eretz to his house! Sounds unbelievable? Absolutely! But Nas has a mission: making life better and I also think, breaking stereotypes. Like his profile, you'll never regret it. I promise.
Gaku’s Ethereal Food Carvings This is not your ordinary food porn - it's the next level of the art of veggies. Yum yum yummy!
81-Yo Japanese Woman Who Taught Herself Programming Launches First iPhone Game Just another proof that age is just a number and it's never too late to learn something new and be successful. Now, what's your excuse?
Adorable Seal Can’t Stop Hugging Toy Version of Itself It Found This may be just an ordinary seal for most of you but for me it's just a little version of myself hugging (no, not a tiny version of myself) rabbits, cats and even teddy bears (when they're cute). Btw, a few weeks ago I was in the elevator with a little kid. The kid was holding a watermelon and started talking to it (saying I love you and so and it got pretty romantic in there) and she even kissed it. So, if kids can develop feelings toward fruits, there's absolutely nothing wrong with loving just a bit of plush, is it?
5 weird things you didn’t know about time zones Time zones have always been something that fascinated me. It started in primary school when I was trying to understand how come Australia is the first to celebrate the New Year. Having finished school, it turned out there are still a few things abut time that were maybe not really weird but actually interesting.
A Map of Lexical Distances Between Europe's Languages Having the gut to call myself a polyglot, I just find it absolutely amusing and quite often you can find me buried in papers and dictionaries (recently I bought myself two more) performing the art of comparativism. And this is one of my favourite maps ever. No kidding.
How A Funny Jewish Game Called Rummikub Became An International Sensation I discovered Rummikub years ago when I was at my friend's place and we decided to play something new. It was love at first sight! I can even remember that later I got the game from her as a birthday gift. Still, I had no idea it had Jewish origins!
Laughing together: The unlikely story of a Gaza clown who grew up in Israeli hospitals Just another example that: there's still hope for humanity, laughter has no nationality/ethnicity and what goes around comes back around. Doing good deeds is always worth the effort.
Artist Spends 20 Years Sketching South Korea’s Little Convenience Stores Amazing works by Me Kyeoung Lee again make me wanna book a ticket to Seul and go exploring. This city always seems so picturesque, even if it's shown only as little drawings.
