We know that in September, we will wander through the warm winds of summer's wreckage. We will welcome summer's ghost.

The older I get, the stranger the feeling that time flies at the speed of a gossip. On Thursday I was talking with My Boy and we both could clearly remember our exams in June but at the same time our stay in Vienna seemed so distant. And now, as I just came from the Rosh haShanah celebration and I'm sat with a cuppa, I have a feeling that September was much longer than a regular month. Those 30 days were spent between Radom and Warsaw and the weather was so good that I managed to get a bit brownish and catch the very last rays of sun. Despite all the terrible things happening around the globe, September was a peaceful month for me and I spent some quality time with the Family.
After one month in Vienna it felt really good to be back in Poland. Indeed. I used to have a love-hate relationship with Warsaw but I can finally say I'm falling for this city more and more. I may be missing astonishingly delicious croissants from Billa and all kinds of green smoothies one can ever dream of but at the same time I'm making my favorite Arab salad chopping the best parsley from the greengrocer's near my flat. It's a double-edged sword.
Green. It's definitely one of my favorite spots for meetings, working and whatnot and I'm definitely a sucker for their Oscar cake. It's terribly sweet and probably has trillion calories but well, man lebt nut enamel in der Welt (this is the German version of yolo).
Sucre. I thought I'm gonna be mourning forever when they closed my beloved Aroma on Krakowskie Przedmieście but Sucre turned out to be a really nice replacement with wide selection of tea (chai is my absolute no.1 for autumn), delicious ice-cream and relatively cheap breakfasts (served throughout the day from what I've noticed; a set costs 19 PLN, coffee and juice included) and croissants almost as good as the above mentioned from Billa.
Mixing paterns. I've never been the one to wear 2 different patterns at once but one evening I gave it a try and as for me the result is not that bad and kitschy. The foulard is vintage but it's made from wool so it's really warm and it's one of my best vintage finds ever.
Park Skaryszewski. No filter needed.
It's the converse season!
Hotel Bristol. I absolutely love how it looks like at night. I remember that last year in September I also took a picture of this building and turned it into black and white aesthetics. Maybe it should become my little ritual that every September I'm looking at Bristol through some different lens?
