When you think about fall, you probably have in mind all the tumblr-perfect pictures of parks covered in golden and brownish leaves, cozy evening with a cuppa and a book or at least pumpkin spice latte at Starbucks. Chunky knits, light trench coats and loafers should make the most wanted outfit perfect for when it gets a bit chilly yet no so cold that you avoid leaving your humble abode at all costs. But tumblr is tumblr and wishful thinking is nothing more than that.
The past few weeks which for me also marked the beginning of the new year at university have been so terribly windy, rainy and cold that I slowly started losing hope for seeing some sun peeking through my window in the morning. It's this time of the year again when I get to wake up when it's dark and come back home when it's dark again. I'm not going to elaborate on how the lack of sun helps you develop depression and lowers the level of vitamin D3 in your body but I don't quite feel like going out when it pours and rain, no matter how interesting the lecture. And to make matters worse, my fancy umbrella I got on sale at ZARA Home is almost totally damaged and lost too many battles against the wind. My eyes decided to protest against the stormy weather too and got oversensitive so every time I venture outside, tears are streaming down my face as if I was the no.1 crybaby.
In other news, I managed to get hooked and joined the studyblr gang. No, no, no, this is not to say I'm gonna get a third tumblr where I'll be posting my colourful notes and books surrounded by mugs and cool stationery. But I followed many people who do so to get some inspiration and motivation and so far I can tell you it works and this is the most productive I've ever been in my life. Fingers crossed it stays like this for the whole year and results in something more than another set of highlighters.
Do you follow any studyblr or maybe own one? If so, share the link in comments and I may follow :)
