moments: February

The day and time itself: late afternoon in early February, was there a moment of the year better suited for despair?

Alice McDermott

February was the month of intensive reading (I read 5 nice books), paying a visit to my beloved Vienna, stuffing myself with the best Italian pizza, reading poetry, getting my hands on A Year in the Life of Facehunter and kicking off the new semester. I developed a crush on strong black early grey and brought to Warsaw some music I used to listen to as a kid/teenager. And I slowly started my transition from winter to spring thinking about buying myself a new leather jacket. As for now I found only one more or less perfect but since the weather outside still has this winterish feeling in the air, I'm still on my private mission.

FILM: Saudi Arabia. A Wind of Change

BOOK: Ćwiartka Raz by Karolina Korwin Piotrowska (as you can see I read more and more in Polish)

FOOD: chocolate coufflé filled with hot chocolate

DRINK: hot milk with halva and honey

CRAVE: black leather jacket

EVENT: vernissage of the Why We Have Wars exhibition at Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw
