NEW YEAR, NEW MUSIC. One of the best things of every new year is new music. Up and coming artists, releases we all have been waiting for since forever, concerts and music festivals. These are the things I expect the most everytime the calendar gently reminds me it's January already. I guess 3 years ago (the period of my greatest Spotify addiction and the craze of discovering artists nobody knows about) I came across a playlist called Sound of 2014 and fell head over heels in love with Sami Smith's Nirvana. I remember being forever impatient to hear more of his music and his CD was probably one of the most expected things back then. He didn't disappoint me at all and I still listen to him (wishing he had more songs to keep me company on my tube rides). No wonder that it's already become my little tradition to search for new tunes and predictions for every new year in music. That's why today I'm also sharing some tunes I came across on Spotify when I searched for sound of 2016 playlists. Most of these artists are completely new to me so here's to new adventures on the better side of streaming platforms and YouTube.
