It's another day of Hanukkah but most of You are probably already in the Christmas spirit dancing with Katy Perry to H&M's holiday commercial. Almost every blog provides us all with ready-made lists of absolutely perfect gifts for him, her, the dog and the cat. The holiday season is the time when I try to avoid big department stores and shopping malls cause everything glitters and blinds me and the kitsch keeps screaming at my face from every corner. This is not to say I detest all the pretty decorations. Quite the opposite. I do like them but all things in moderation, right?
Anyway, I decided to succumb to the festive spirit a little bit and even reblogged some Christmas trees on tumblr (btw. have You ever heard of Hanukka trees?). I also came across a really nice set of pictures, styled by John Dunfee and called Friendsgiving. I know, it probably relates more to Thanksgiving, but if You're tired of all the red and green aesthetics, candies and whatnot, this is a very nice idea of table decoration this season. Simplicity is the key and therefore You can focus on Your family and friends. Be present this Christmas instead of only giving presents.
