JAMAICA. Everything started some weeks ago when I met with my friend at one of our favourite meeting places in Warsaw: Green Caffè Nero on Chmielna Str. It was one of these crispy October days when I could barely get out of bed and get all my things together. I remember I went for a fedora cause I was too lazy to think about the hairdo (or most probably had no time left to do this). The wind was blowing and I was feeling cold. Having entered the cafe, all I could dream of was a cuppa. A cup of something spicy that would warm up my insides and bring up some sensation to my taste buds. When the barista asked to collect my order I asked her to recommend me something. What I heard as a response to my little wish was one word: Jamaica she said. I agreed (at Green I always trust baristas with their choices and I'm disappointed). Aforementioned Jamaica turned out to be chai tea with ginger, a slice of orange and some honey. It tasted heavenly, indeed. That was exactly my kind of perfect autumn tea.

Anyway, it just wouldn't be me if I hadn't experimented on my own with autumnal flavours. Being a huge fan of spices of any kind, I almost always add some cinnamon or cloves to my tea, be it summer or winter. That is why I decided to create my own flavour at home. Green tea with orange and some cardamom makes the perfect morning/afternoon/late evening drink and is gonna keep me company for the next couple of weeks because autumn has officially arrived to my humble abode.
