Music Monday #25

The weekend was spent in Radom (my hometown in other words) and was full of throwbacks to the times when I was happy-go-lucky at the age of 6 probably. This is why I love coming back to the city that, maybe not all that big and attractive in terms of entertainment, had been my first home ever for 19 years. This is the place that had taught me how to find joy in the little things. This is the city that has actually raised me (and no, I don't mean being a gangsta kid living on the street and threatening people, as you probably imagine).

My hometown means my childhood. I have so many memories from that time that they would probably make a great book. And when I was a little kid, my parents brought me from Warsaw the cutie on the right. It's called matryoshka and for most of us it's a Russian toy. I'm not going to deny it but it used to be one of my favourite toys as well. That is why I was probably over the moon when i got the smaller one that can be seen on the left. I know they don't look like typical toys from the 90s but for me they were second to none. And when i found them last summer, I decided to bring them to my room and put them on the windowsill.

Speaking of childhood memories, I remember I was pretty much into music (some things never change). That is why I decided to devote today's Music Monday to some of the tunes I used to jam to being at least 10 years younger. Everytime I see similar flashbacks on tumblr or Spotify,  have a big smile on my face and think of how I would walk around saying 'Nah, this is my tune and there can never be another'. I hope you have similar memories and these songs will also make you smile. So, let's kick it!
