inspiration: Indian summer

Summer is slowly coming to an end and this rather sad fact is inevitable. But before we start curling up on our sofas with a cuppa or some hot chocolate and a book to keep us company, it's time to enjoy Indian summer (also known as Old Wives' summer). Last days have been really nice in Poland. Much better than expected actually (while in Israel my mum would always be like 'it's 14 degrees in Poland').

I love spending September in my hometown. It's always so beautiful there and though it's not the capital of Poland and you don't have huge department stores just around the corner, you have one thing that's been very important to me lately: peace. You can spend the whole evening sitting on the balcony and, being as lucky as I am, looking at the forest near your house. The cats enjoy their everlasting Shabbat resting, the pigeons flying and looking like glitter falling from the sky, little gusts of wind - what more could I ask for?
