in the middle

I guess it's fair to say that all the most difficult exams have already been passed and to sound even more optimistic I can also say that in 9 days I will finally start enjoying my holy daze. Maybe I'm not sitting counting the days till uni's out for the summer but the thought of catching up on sleep and reading all the books that are waiting for me or even just doing nothing is pretty nice.

While revising for yesterday's exam in Islamic Art and Architecture I developed a crush on design. Actually I've always been into that sort of things but never had enough time and will to have a closer look at it. And now that I kind if had been forced to do this, I finally spent enough time on all those plans of buildings, description of paintings and handicrft that I got hooked and today bought a book with short essays on Art in the Middle East. And given the fact that in a month I'll be walking on theMoroccan  ground I feel even more motivated to get even closer to its architecture. Some days ato I found a beautiful book on the gardens of Marrakesh and I literally can't wait to see at least one of them.

If you're having exams, I hope you're doing fine and of course I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you bunnies! ;))
